  • MODESTO - Two pedestrians where struck by a vehicle in Downtown Modesto Saturday evening.   • MODESTO - Authorities detained several people in a central Modesto home Friday night after an investigation led to a pursuit. The incident began around 4:15pm as detectives with the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office were conducting an investigation into a suspect known to be armed.
