Family Seeks Missing Relative

MODESTO - Family of a man missing since Tuesday morning is seeking information on his whereabouts and concerned for his safety.

Jesus Covarrubias was last seen leaving his home in West Modesto at about 10am Tuesday to seek work. He is a 36 year old Hispanic man standing at about 5'6 and weighing about 180lbs.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black sweater and tan work boots. He has black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of Jesus Christ on one arm with the name Blanca underneath it, and a tattoo of the Virgin Mary on the other arm.

His family is concerned for his well being in the cold weather and say it is unnatural for him to not return home. He also does not carry a cell phone.

A family is asking for the public’s help in finding a 15-year-old boy who ran away last night and is now in the national database for missing kids. The teenager, Quinten Hall, who is from Waterford, ran away at around 8 p.m. from a residence in Ceres where he was staying.

At Risk Teen Missing

MODESTO - Authorities are asking the public's help in locating an at risk missing 17 year old girl.

Marisa Martinez is missing and at risk due to medical conditions, according to the Ceres Police Department. Marisa was last seen wearing black pants, a blue or denim shirt and red Converse shoes.

Marisa also has a pit bull named Marley that walks with a limp.

Anyone who may know her whereabouts or information regarding Marisa is asked to contact the Modesto Police Department at 209-552-2470.

Missing Child Reported

MODESTO - Police are asking for the public's help in locating a child missing since Saturday.

Pedro Alvarez, left his Poppypatch Drive home Saturday on his bicycle and has not been seen since. Police say he left on his green bicycle at about 3:30pm.

Pedro is about 4'9" tall and was last seen wearing a gray shirt saying "I'm not arguing, just explaining." 

If anyone has seen him or know his whereabouts Police ask you to contact them immediately.

MODESTO - Police are seeking the public's help in finding a missing adult.

Police say John Carlson left his care facility this morning near the area of Coffee Road and Norwegian Avenue Monday morning. A post on social media indicated he is a Vietnam veteran and was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. 

Carlson was last seen wearing a red shirt with khaki colored shorts. Anyone who may have information on his location is asked to call 911.

MISSING ADULT

MODESTO - Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing elderly adult.

Santos Perez, 74, was last seen at about 5:00pm Tuesday afternoon when he left his home near Prescott and Sharon. He was last seen wearing cream colored clothing.

Mr. Perez suffers from Alzheimer's and dementia. Police ask anyone who may have seen him or know where he may be located to call 911.

MODESTO - Police are asking for the public's help in the search for a missing adult.

Clark Douglas Waller, age 62, wandered away from his home near the Sylvan/Coffee area of northeast Modesto. Police say he walked away from his home on Kingswood Drive at about 10:15 Friday morning and has not been seen since.

Authorities say Mr. Waller has a significantly reduced mental health capacity as a result of previous medical issues.

Several police officers are searching for Mr. Waller and ask if anyone sees him to call 911 immediately. He may be using a walker and possibly not wearing any shoes.

Detectives Discover Body Near River

RIVERBANK - Investigators with Riverbank Police Services are looking into the discovery of an unidentified body near the Stanislaus river Thursday morning.

Two detectives were walking along the river around 9:30am handing out fliers in the hopes they could locate Juan Alipio Hernandez, a 47 year old man who was reported missing July 7th by relatives.

According to relatives, they had not seen Hernandez for about two weeks prior to reporting him missing. He is reportedly homeless and was known to frequent the river.

While searching the area, investigators discovered a decomposed body of an adult male. They believe it to be Hernandez, as the body matches his physical description.

Authorities will not be able to positively identify the body or cause of death until an autopsy is performed and DNA results are returned. Officials say there does not appear to be any foul play involved at this time.

Anyone with information on this case or the disappearance of Juan Alipio Hernandez is asked to call Detective Dave Hickman at the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department at 209-525-7042.

Girl Missing From Home

CERES - Adelina Galvan's mother is asking for the public's help in locating her missing daughter.

Adelina was last seen at home in Ceres, and went missing at about 3 am Wednesday. She is 14 years old, 5'3" tall and weighs approximately 113 lbs.

She was last seen wearing a red sweater and black sweat pants. Adelina's mother Vanessa is asking anyone who may have any information on her whereabouts or who may have seen her to call her at 209-496-6395.
