On March 27, deputies with the San Joaquin County Sheriff Department arrested a man they say posed as a store manager and coerced a teen into sex acts.

Officials say the suspect, identified as Thomas Andrew Brink, confronted a 17 year old as she exited the rite aid on the 6400 block of Pacific Avenue in Stockton and accused her of shoplifting. He then escorted her to the back of the shopping center where he coerced her to perform sexual acts on him.

Brink was identified as a suspect and interviewed. Authorities later booked him on charges of child molestation, kidnap for a sexual crime and a variety of others.
