Hodges was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Stanislaus County Jail on multiple felony sexual molestation charges.
“I was shocked to learn of the allegations. No person is above the law and we will professionally investigate criminal complaints, no matter what the occupation of the suspect is,” said Interim Police Chief Gene Balentine. “We have a high expectation of our employees and will hold them accountable for their actions, whether they are on-duty or off-duty.”
Hodges was placed on paid administrative leave until the conclusion of this administrative investigation.
This case is now in the hands of the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s office and all questions regarding this case will be referred to the District Attorney’s office.

MODESTO, CA - The McHenry Mansion, Modesto's iconic victorian home centered in the heart of downtown, caught fire Tuesday night drawing the attention of the entire region.
The call came in at about 7:30pm, as a business owner leaving his salon across the street noticed the flames at the front entrance of the mansion. Fire crews arrived after his 911 call and had the fire controlled within a half hour.
News of the fire spread quickly online, and residents from as far as Escalon came to the landmark to witness what they could not believe first hand.

Hugo Patino, a battalion chief with the Modesto Regional Fire Authority stated that a majority of the fire was held to the exterior of the building. There was minimal damage to the interior by fire, although water had damaged the entry way through fire fighting efforts.
Despite the favorable outcome, the fire still caused $200,000 dollars in damage.
