Officers responded and determined the man in the home had outstanding warrants, and that the woman had a restraining order against him.

Police and Sheriff SWAT teams as well as negotiators responded after officers tried to talk the man out of the home. Neither he or the woman exited. Nearby schools were placed on lockdown.

Authorities breached a window and used beanbags to attempt to get the man to comply and establish communication with him using a PA system. At one point, the woman in the home appeared for a brief moment. A throw-phone was also brought by authorities to attempt to communicate with the man.

The woman later exited, and officers eventually used teargas to get the man to exit. He was then taken into custody.

At time of publication, no further details were available. No injuries were reported.
