Couple Dedicates Career To Educating Homeowners

For some people, buying a home can be a scary and stressful process. One local couple who faced similar experiences decided to dedicate their careers to help their clients better understand how to buy a home.

RJ (CALBRE#02001473) and Charlene Tapia (NMLS#1459753) were both raised in South Modesto. Prior to the gang injunction introduced in 2009 to combat the crime in the neighborhood, South Modesto was considered a battleground for street level criminals. Growing up in the zone wasn’t always easy and opportunities to stay away from the street life were scarce.

The Tapias aspired for a better, more productive life and contributed one of their businesses together, Cen Cal Tacos. The business was an instant hit, bringing the power couple success and happiness, but their true passion proved to be real estate.

Charlene Tapia now has eleven years in the real estate business, and has since transitioned into the loan side of the industry. Her husband RJ is a real estate agent and together the two have helped their clients realize their “American dream” of homeownership. The results have both been rewarding and gratifying for the couple.

The Tapias have dedicated themselves to educating and assisting clients across the valley in the process and benefits of being a homeowner. RJ is an agent with Allison James Real Estate and Homes, and his wife Charlene is a loan officer with PrimeLending.

In the future, the Tapias plan to expand their knowledge to more locals who are looking to buy a home, or help someone with questions if they may not be sure if they qualify.

If you or someone you know may have questions about buying a home, you can contact RJ at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
