Dispute Over Parking Space Results in Stabbing

STOCKTON - Police are investigating a stabbing that was a result of a dispute over a parking space.

At about 8:30am Sunday, police responded to the 900 block of South Golden Gate Avenue for a report of the stabbing. Authorities say the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the victim was involved in a verbal dispute over a parking space about a month ago. Today the victim and suspect were involved in a confrontation when the stabbing occurred.

The suspect is described as a caucasian adult male, between the ages of 30 and 40 years. He had short brown hair and brown eyes, stood about five feet eight inches tall and weighed about 150 to 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and black sweat pants.
