Foot Chase in Turlock Leads to Arrest for Theft and Resisting Arrest

TURLOCK - Officers arrested a woman after she fled from the scene of a vehicle burglary.

On July 19 at about 7 a.m., officers responded to the area of the South Minaret Street and F Street for a report of a possible auto burglary.

The suspect was chased by an unknown person before police arrived.

Officers arrived on scene and identified the suspect as Victoria Craig, a 22 year old female. When officers made contact with her, she fled on foot.

A short foot chase began and she was located in the area of G Street and South First Street.

Craig did not comply and struggled with officers authorities say, but she was taken into custody and arrested for petty theft and resisting.

After checking the surrounding area, officers did not locate any of the victim’s belongings.
