Early reports indicate a person was struck by a vehicle that may have left the scene. At about 9:30pm police responded to a report of a person shot near the intersection of Locust and North Madison Streets.   • STANISLAUS COUNTY - A plane crash near the Modesto Reservoir sparked a brush fire, dispatching a response from several emergency crews late Monday afternoon. At about 5:44pm, officers with the California Highway Patrol were dispatched to a report of an aircraft down in the area of Crabtree Road near Warnerville Road.   • MODESTO - Authorities investigates the death of a man found Thursday morning near a highway on-ramp. The California Highway Patrol says they received a call shortly before 11am of a man down in an embankment.
