  • NEWMAN - Authorities investigated an officer involved shooting in Newman Wednesday morning. An officer called out shots fired over dispatch during an investigation on the 400 block of Bobolink Court Wednesday. One person was reported down, no injuries reported to the officer.   • MODESTO - Authorities arrested a 34 year old man who was accused of groping several students as they walked to a school bus stop. On January 31st, deputies with the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office received a report from a 15 year old girl who said she had been groped by a Hispanic man on a bicycle as she walked to a bus stop near the intersection of Crows Landing Road and Butte Avenue.   • MODESTO - A stabbing Monday morning prompted the lockdown of a nearby elementary school. Authorities say Capistrano School was lockdown aftera report of a person being stabbed nearby. The lockdown remained as officers arrived and searched for a suspect in the area.
